The NES Discrete Blaster Pro can do a variety of the NES Discrete mappers – including the extremely popular NES Maker mapper (mapper 30) – and all on the same board!

No soldering, no hassle! Simply pop the board into the RetroBlaster Programmer with the NES adapter and write your game to it. The software will automatically remove any header and pad your game file to fill the Flash memory chips on the board. It takes all the guess-work out of making your game playable on a real console! Add a high quality NES cart shell to finish it off.

The NES Discrete Blaster Pro will automatically set the mapper type and mirroring depending on the game you write. This sets all options for you, so you only need to program the game – the RetroBlaster takes care of everything else! It also includes a custom CIC chip to allow it to be played in both NTSC or PAL regions*.

For NES Maker games, the NES Discrete Blaster Pro supports all mirroring types – including 4-screen mode! *If you require self-flashing for your game (battery-less save feature), please email us! Otherwise the board you receive may or may not support that functionality, depending on parts availability*

*  If your console’s LED blinks after inserting the Blaster and powering on, press RESET (usually takes between 4-8 resets) to lock the cart to your console’s region. You only need to do that once when changing the region the game is playing on, after that it remembers. This NES Blaster defaults to the NTSC region out-of-the-box.
