The Turbo Blaster is the first reprogrammable HuCard that works in both the TurboGrafx-16 and PC Engine consoles as well as any other HuCard compatible console! In collaboration with Mega Cat Studios for help with the cost of getting the mold manufactured, we’ve created a brand-new HuCard made with high-quality ABS plastic to recreate the look and feel of an original HuCard, right down to the matte black PCB attached to it!
Pop the Turbo Blaster into your RetroBlaster programmer/dumper, using your TG-16/PCE adapter, and then write your game. You can choose to write it as a TG16 or PCE game, which enables the Turbo Blaster to work on that console region. It will NOT work on both simultaneously. It will work on either console region, depending on the selection you made when writing your game. See RetroBlaster User Guide for more info.
The Turbo Blaster includes:
- A matte-black mini PCB with 1MByte of Flash ROM, which can play just about the entire console library**
- A replica plastic HuCard made in the same form-factor as an original
To replace the “Turbo Blaster” label with one of your own, the label size needs to be 49mm W x 37mm L, and no thicker than 0.12mm.
