This little board is a one-stop-shop for the GBA handheld console. It uses a CPLD to recreate the functions of a real GBA cartridge – all while fitting into a normal cartridge size!
No soldering, no hassle! Simply pop the GBA Blaster into the RetroBlaster Mini with the GB/GBC/GBA Mini adapter, and write your game to it – the RetroBlaster software will do the rest! It takes all the guess-work out of making your game playable on a real console.
The GBA Blaster comes with:
- 32MByte ROM space
- 64KByte FRAM
- Supports all main save types* – EEPROM, FLASH and SRAM, using automatic ROM patching
* Games that use 1Mbit (128KByte) Flash for saving will only save properly on the first save slot, and are not recommended
* Games that use an RTC, like some Pokemon games, may not work as intended as RTC isn’t supported
* The Classic NES series of games require patching before using with the GBA Blaster – patches can be found here
